Putting Grandpa to work
Grandpa watched the kids try to move a log for a while, and they finally put him to work. It doesn't look like Logan is the kid that is connected to Dad.... but, despite their difference in color, they were best buddies.
Happy 94th birthday Great Grandma!
We felt so lucky to spend Grandmas birthday with her. We went to her house, and had dinner and played in her swimming pool. In the photo in the rec room, you can see Grandmas best friends behind her. They are playing scrabble, that is what they usually do at this time, but Logan and I broke up the routine for a week. :) As you can see in the photos, she is doing wonderful. I wish we could spend time with her every week, but I am grateful for the week we had.
Our trip to Hawaii
Logan and I snuck in a quick trip to Kauai to see Grandpa and Tutu. We also wanted to celebrate Great Grandmas 94th birthday with her! We had a wonderful time. We spent everyday at the beach, and almost every night at Great Grandmas, or taking her out to dinner. It was a week full of quality time with Grandpa, Tutu and Great Grandma. We had a wonderful time.

We made it!
Lo's first day at Pacific Primary was a big deal, and not just for him! The culmination of months of hope and expectation, and we're thrilled he's there. It seems like a wonderful place and Lo has just finished his first week. An extra special treat was that Grandad and Grandma got to pick him up from school on his first two days there! :)
Meeting up with Gaby before class!
We were thrilled to learn that Gaby got a last-minute spot at Pacific Primary that opened up, although she is in a different class to Lo and is across the street from him in the Orange Sun School (Lo is in the Yellow Sun School). They probably won't see each other much at school, but Gaby's mum Erica asked us to meet before class on the first day so that Gaby would know that Lo was close by, so sweet...!
