'Dr Alice'
So for most of Christmas Logan insisted on being referred to by name as 'Alice.' He later insisted on a title as well and he morphed into Dr Alice. Here he is clutching his gold purse, also a feature over the Christmas weeks. A fun phase that thanks to the power of the internet is recorded for the ages for his future probably dis-approving teenage self... :)

Money for Noise
So Logan said we should put a band together and call it Money for Noise. I'm not even kidding. And what followed was completely spontaneous and utterly unscripted. Sometimes the magic just happens all by itself...
Putting Logan's bed together...
... that was actually Dad's when he was a boy! Grandad and Grandma very thoughtfully packed it up and shipped it from London across to San Francisco for Logan for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Grandad!
I'm sorry I wasn't there to wish you Happy Birthday in person Grandad but be rest-assured if I was, I'd be causing trouble just like in this picture... I love you!

Visiting Miramar with Taj
This month when I went down to San Diego for some Ferrari training, I met up with my friend Taj and had the rare privilege of touring the Miramar airbase with him and seeing where he spends his days. It was a quite surreal and memorable experience. Thanks Taj for taking the time and I'm holding you to the promise that next time we're getting a picture of Logan with the jets! :)
Taj's jet
This is the jet Taj flew in Afghanistan when he was over there. Not only did he fly it almost daily on combat missions when he was over there, they also insisted he fly it all the way back to San Diego when his tour was over :)
'Semper Fi'
Despite the fact that Taj flies jets off aircraft carriers, he is neither in the Air Force or the Navy, but in the Marines, a fact I seem to continue to forget whenever we discuss what he does... It's written all over the planes though so I think it's finally stuck in my mind now.
Inside an F18!
Out on the runway at night Taj got us inside one of the jets. A pretty amazing experience all in all!
Taj explaining to me what all the buttons do...
Needless to say there were a lot of them. The inside of the cockpit is supposedly classified so I didn't take any pictures, but just imagine the most complicated dashboard in any car you've ever sat in and then times by 100 and that's kind of what it's like...

Ice to the Eskimo's...
It took Uncle Nic most of Christmas to pull off, but he closed the sale and got all of us down to Golden Gate Fields for a day of Horse Racing on 'Dollar Day.' It took him creating a song to get it done, evidence of which we should be posting soon... It was worth it though and thanks to Nic we all had a brilliant time!
And Surprise Surprise, looks who's the winner...
... it's Jammy Mcbeanison... Having picked the winner of the Grand National in England her first time out, this is small fry in comparison. You really would bet your house on her...

Home for the Holidays
So Christmas 2010 we spent home in our City by the Bay. Exciting times are ahead though as Nic and Mela are riding into town...
