Where's....

Nic, Granny, Grandma, Dad....

colors or colours :)

Logan starts pre school tomorrow...so exciting. We know he will love it, he wants to learn everything, a little sponge!

Logan and Jennah

Logan hearts Jennah, he wouldn't let her out of his sight! She is such a sweety and they made an adorable little pair.

Girls....

Logan had so much fun with Ju Ju, Jennah, Netty, Aunt Jenny and Aunt Judy. Thank you girls for watching Logan so I could interview! I accepted the job with GSK today, and I couldn't have done it without you!

Road trip with Granny

Granny flew up and then we turned around and drove back down to Orange County. Colin was born, Jan and the girls were in town, Sarah had a son, we wanted to see Beck and Liam, and Mom had an interview...oh and we had a little TriDelt reunion at Disneyland. We packed it all in somehow. But, this is a picture of Granny and Logan playing in a field on the side of Highway 5.

The inspiration behind the trip...

Vicky Christina Barcelona was playing right around the corner from us...a reminder of what inspired our adventure. We had an amazing time, and fell in love with the city of Buenos Aires, the people, and Uruguay. But, the best week by far was when Dad was with us, so if we get any more crazy ideas, which I am sure we will, we are going to convince Dad to come for the whole time... Either way, Buenos Aires left an impression on me, and I know that the warmth of the people, the beauty of the country, and the love of travel and adventure will stay with Logan, even though his memories might come from photos.

On our way home to see Dad

Logan was wonderful on the trip home, a day in the sunshine at the pool wore him out. He slept all the way from Argentina to Washington. And then He napped on the next flight and read his books and played with his cars. I was very proud! As always....

Our last day in Buenos Aires

We went to the pool, Mom thought it was a good idea to relax and soak up some sunshine before our 24 hour journey!

Ferrari, Buenos Aires

Relocation? I am afraid not, the Cafe and shop are very nice, but the shop is not. We went to take pictures for Dad. But, then we were sent a mile away to the actual store, and it is tiny, there is room for that one woman and that one Maserati (the wall mirror makes it look bigger). Dads store is much nicer. And we think he probably stays a bit busier in Northern California than they do in Buenos Aires.

A lovely warm evening

We stayed to watch the sunset and have dinner, and then took Buquebus back to Argentina. But, we plan on returning to Uruguay!

No matter where we are....

Logans favorite thing to do is play with his cars....even the beauty of Uruguay couldn't distract him from the fun of cars!

A new friend....

He was cute until he started barking, and then we hightailed it out of there.....

Nap by the water and lunch....life is good

After exploring Colonia and playing in the water Lo took a nap, and we had a wonderful lunch by the water.

Playing in the Water in Uruguay

Exploring Colonia, Uruguay with Mom

We fell in love with Uruguay, mom got Logan and Dad a football Jersey. After all, Logan Mountstuart, Logan's namesake was born in Uruguay, so it is not too surprising that we love it. And we found a little piece of home there. (Logan Mountstuart is the character in Any Human Heart, the book that inspired the name)

1st class to Colonia

Local playgroup

We joined a local playgroup in Buenos Aires. These are some of Logan's friends, Domingo and Dan. Logan loved this park and playing with the older boys. Dans Mom, Gabriella took us around town and showed us some of her favorite spots. We felt very lucky to make some local friends!

Tango night in Recoletta

Logan loved the live Music and watching the Tango, but more than that he loved the little girl on his side. He kept kneeling down right in her face and smiling at her and saying "dance".

Japanese Gardens in Buenos Aires

Sadly, Dad had to go home and back to work, so Mom and Lo went to the pool and the park. It was fun, but would have been more fun with Dad. Logan was very brave with the Geese, and they were really friendly, we also fed the huge fish, and the one where Logan is resting on the bench, he was actually throwing a little fit, and having some alone time. But, after the alone time, we went and had sushi.

Logan and Naomi

Back to the Four Seasons for some fun in the sun. Logan and Naomi were inseparable....we played in the pool together, played trains, colored. Super cute little couple. Naomi was French, so Logan seems to be interested in the European ladies :)

"The English Maradona"

We went to lunch in La Boca, and this little girl started playing Football with Logan. Her family was so impressed they called Logan the English Maradona....and this was in La Boca!
